A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Hello!
My name’s Lisalotte, and I’m working on an oversharing habit, so let’s get to it:
I have a BA in Media Arts Production from Emerson College and minored in Nonprofit Communication Management. Really, though, I’m trying to learn about everything (somehow).
I believe in visual art’s ability to evoke emotion, mobilize masses, and share stories—but I also revel in its power to heal while creating. That’s what keeps my pen moving.
In my advocacy work, I’ve most closely worked with mental health, education programs, the elderly, infrastructure issues, and survivors of domestic abuse. However, in the past year my reading has focused on the US prison industrial complex (both reform and abolition).
I’ve been known to get way too invested in trivia, to love plants like people, to send a lot of mail, and to obsess over media I deem “brilliant.”
